Rocketry and space travel visionaries of the early twentieth century included Robert Goddard, Hermann Oberth, and Konstantine Tsiolkovsky. ​ On their shoulders, the fundamentals of space travel were formed.


The collection includes: 1) Tsiolkovsky's 1929 published work, "Space Trains", in which the concept of multistage rockets was formulated; 2) a 1960 published book about Tsiolkovsky, autographed by Yuri Gagarin, the first human to circumnavigate the earth in space; and, 3) a Gagarin autographed speech.
